Home Health Made Easy® is a nurse-created education and resource brand founded by Jennifer L. Mueller, RN, an experienced home health nurse working in the field since 2009. It exists to help home health nurses feel more confident, organized, and supported in a specialty that can feel overwhelming — especially for nurses who are new to it.
Every resource is written from the perspective of a nurse who understands what actually happens in patients' homes: the book, documentation tools, clinical reference guides, assessment resources, OASIS and Start of Care support, wound care, medication reconciliation, patient education, communication templates, survival guides, and complete digital bundles.
Education is part of the brand too — practical nursing tips, clinical scenarios, and documentation guidance shared through social media, now expanding into Home Hospice Made Easy®. Our mission is simple: more confidence, clarity, and practical support for nurses — one visit at a time.
Created by Jennifer L. Mueller, RN — in the field since 2009, and still writing from real visits.
Checklists, prompts, and templates that fit between the front door and the finished note.
Plain-language guidance for skilled need, homebound status, OASIS, and everything you charted.
Encouraging, practical support that respects your clinical judgment and your limited time.

I'm Jennifer L. Mueller, RN — founder of Home Health Made Easy® and Home Hospice Made Easy®, author, educator, and a home health nurse with more than 17 years of real-world experience. I entered home health shortly after graduating in 2009, drawn to the flexibility it offered a mother of young children. What started as a practical choice quickly became my passion.
Over the years I've cared for patients from many different backgrounds, supported nurses through hard visits, and seen how overwhelming home-based care and documentation can feel — especially early on. I created Home Health Made Easy® to provide the practical guidance I wished I'd had when I started.
Every book, documentation library, clinical reference, template, and checklist is inspired by real nursing experience, with one goal: make the work a little easier without ever replacing clinical judgment, agency policies, or individualized care. Nurses deserve resources that respect both the complexity of the work and the little time there is to do it.
Practical digital resources for home health and hospice nurses, educators, supervisors, caregivers, and agencies — documentation templates, phrase libraries, assessment tools, clinical reference guides, checklists, patient-education materials, orientation resources, and complete workflow toolkits.
Unless a listing specifically says otherwise, everything is a digital download. Nothing is shipped. You download the files and print or use them electronically in the formats included with your purchase.
Formats vary by product and may include printable PDFs, fillable PDFs, editable Microsoft Word documents, or ZIP folders containing multiple files. Each product description lists exactly what is included.
Both, depending on the product. Printable files can be printed at home, at work, or through a print service — print at 100% scale for best results. Many resources also include fillable or editable versions so you can type information electronically.
Digital products are available for download once payment is confirmed. Etsy purchases can be accessed through your Etsy account under Purchases and Reviews. For direct website orders, download instructions are provided at checkout and sent to your order email.
Try downloading from a desktop or laptop first, since some mobile devices struggle with large PDFs and ZIP folders, and make sure you have a current PDF reader. If it still will not open, contact us with your order information and we will help.
No. Every product is an educational and organizational resource only. Nothing replaces individualized assessment, professional clinical judgment, provider orders, agency policies, emergency protocols, or applicable laws and regulations. Templates should always be reviewed and personalized to the actual patient encounter — never document something that did not occur.
Individual purchases are licensed to the original purchaser and may not be copied, shared, resold, or posted for others. Agencies, educators, and clinical leaders are very welcome — contact us about multi-user or agency licensing for orientation, education, and agency-wide use.
Because digital products download immediately, returns, exchanges, and cancellations are generally not accepted. If you receive an incorrect file or hit a technical problem, contact us so we can work toward an appropriate solution.
Yes. Collections keep growing based on real clinical experience, common workflow challenges, regulatory changes, and nurse feedback. Resources are reviewed periodically and updated when appropriate — always verify current regulations, payer guidance, orders, and agency policy before use.
Yes. Home Hospice Made Easy® focuses on compassionate hospice documentation, eligibility support, nursing visits, interdisciplinary communication, comfort education, and caregiver guidance — the same nurse-to-nurse approach, built for end-of-life care.
Absolutely. Suggestions from nurses, educators, agencies, and caregivers help shape what gets created next. Send your idea through the contact form — we cannot promise every request, but all of them are appreciated. Please never include patient-identifying information in any message.
Whether you're brand new to home health, precepting someone who is, or supporting a whole team — there's a resource here to make the next visit simpler.
